Comment: Free live performance at Kyoto Station. I couldn't figure out what was going on.
Buried at the end of this hall on the ninth floor of the gigantic, sprawling Kyoto Station complex was the Tourist Information Center with English speakers. All I wanted was two maps. I discovered later that there was also a different source for the maps on the main floor, but it was very poorly marked. * 2048 x 1536 * (592KB)

People line up in an orderly fashion at this station in Kyoto. * 2048 x 1536 * (534KB)

At a nice restaurant in Kyoto they had a live traditional drumming performance in the beautiful garden. It was pretty dark so I couldn't get it to focus. * 2048 x 1536 * (577KB)
