Buried at the end of this hall on the ninth floor of the gigantic, sprawling Kyoto Station complex was the Tourist Information Center with English speakers. All I wanted was two maps. The public bath was about 5km from the youth hostel I wanted to spend the night at, and there was no public transit to get there, so I started walking. After a couple km's I succeeded in catching a cab to take me the rest of the way. He drove much more sanely than Seoul cabbies, with the exception of being on the wrong side the entire time. * 2048 x 1536 * (581KB)
