Comment: It's hard to capture the chaos on camera, but stations were often very crowded with interweaving crowds.
Japan Rail Line train which I took from the airport to downtown Osaka. Pretty much the same as trains elsewhere, but quite clean, as I expected. * 2048 x 1536 * (560KB)

In the Kita business district, I looked up to see a large Ferris wheel above the mall complex. * 1536 x 2048 * (546KB)

A pachinko parlor, similar to slot machine gambling in the west. * 2048 x 1536 * (573KB)

At the robotayaki restaurant, my first stop in Osaka. They cook in front of you and the chef passes the food to on a long wooden paddle. * 2048 x 1536 * (580KB)

The tall building is the Hilton. I went to the restaurant on the top floor for the view. * 1536 x 2048 * (541KB)
